Overview:

The game follows the journey of the main character, Spirit, on her adventure of exploring a new world that she stumbled upon. Join her on a thrilling experience as she discovers this beautiful place with stunning scenery while also trying to save her life.  The character must make it through obstacles and face truths and uncover emotions as she explores each of the different “worlds”.  

Narrative Beats:

The narrative beat is the opening of the portal. This feat signifies growth, endurance, and strength.

Overview:

Inspired by colour and ambiance, the character and the world itself embody a distinct theme that influences the aesthetics were elements of fantasy, adventure, magic, and nostalgia. Strong aesthetics has the power to transport one to another world through distinct, strong visuals. That was my aim while inventing this world. I wanted to create a place that highlighted the experience while traveling through the environment.

World & Character Design:

I was inspired by illustration art for the character and the world itself. The themes that I will be drawing from are elements of fantasy, adventure, magic, and nostalgia.

The portal is a large element of the game. So essentially each time the character passes through the portal, she will step into a new world. As I have only three weeks, I will begin by creating 2-3 worlds that embody a specific scenery. I am inspired by water, the rainforest, and the desert to begin creating the themes.

Models and Assets needed

Plying off the fantastical theme, I want to create magical beings flying around, and eventually, I would like to add monsters or other obstacles that the character will have to pass through.  One idea I had was to have the land itself morph into obstacles. This could simply be physical obstacles such as a boulder that begins growing or a wave of water coming towards the character. Other ideas were to have the land morph into a living being that the character must escape.
